Postdoctoral Researcher

Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology

One position is available to study molecular mechanisms of beta adrenergic receptor signaling induced by two endogenous ligands: Norepinephrine and Epinephrine in cardiac tissue, including cardiac muscle cell contraction, and myocyte hypertrophy growth and myocyte apoptosis (Science 2003 300(5625):1530-2). Ph.D. and/or M.D. with strong background in molecular and cellular biology required. Experience with primary cell culture and or living-cell imaging studies is a plus.
