Research Specialist in Health Sciences

The College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is looking for a self-motivated Research Specialist in Health Sciences to participate in research into the biochemical regulation of the human blood clotting system. Duties will include mammalian cell culture, expression of recombinant proteins, and general laboratory management.

This is a full-time, regular academic professional position. The position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in biology or a comparable area. Experience working in a research laboratory and experience with mammalian cell culture and/or protein purification is helpful but not required. Good organizational and record-keeping skills are important for this position. Salary is commensurate with experience. Start date is as soon as possible following the closing date.
