Summer Science Program at Thermo Fisher Scientific

Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking Life Science Majors to participate in a Summer Science Program to work with Pierce Protein Research Products.

The Summer Science Program allows interns to work closely with Scientific mentors to develop and utilize laboratory skills, perform analytical assessment of data and strenghthen presentation skills. Upon completion of summer internship, the intern will be required to present their work at a Scientific Forum consisting of the following:

Scientific Forum:
  • Private Panel Interview
  • Public Presentation
  • Poster Presentation

Recognition Awards will be given to one high school student and one college student at the conclusion of the Forum.

Interested candidates should submit the following:

  • 3 Letters of Recommendation (one specifically attesting to laboratory skills)

Complete application packets must be mailed by April 1, 2008 to be considered for this year's program.
