Purpose: Just as DNA ligase links together the gaps in the DNA backbone, this organization will link together students interested in Molecular and Cellular Biology and provide a medium for students to pursue and discover the plethora of fields associated with MCB.
Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Society
President: Laura Lock, llock@uiuc.edu
Purpose: The dual role of AED as an honor society and a service organization is reflected in it's chapter activities. The mission of the Society is to encourage and recognize excellence in premedical scholarship, to stimulate an appreciation of the importance of premedical education, to promote communication between medical and premedical students and educators, to provide a forum for students with common interests, and to use its resources to benefit health organizations and charities.
future Medical Research Investigators (fMRI) Pre-M.D.-Ph.D. Club
President: Jae-Woo Kim, jkim50@uiuc.edu
Purpose: The fMRI organization gives UIUC undergraduates interested in pursuing an M.D./Ph.D. the skills and tools that they will need in order to become successful applicants to M.D./Ph.D. programs.
Illinois Biological Society

Purpose: To facilitate the importance of the different careers in biology, to become aware of present day biological endeavors and to become the planters of the seed that will blossom tomorrow.
Minority Association of Pre-health Students

Purpose: Promote interactions with campus, community, and local corporations and sponsorships, Establish an atmosphere of team work and cooperation, Ensure the academic success of our members, Develop professional and communication skills in our members

Purpose: To guide undergraduate students in their pursuit towards a career in dentistry

Purpose: To provide guidance and membership for students interested in continuing their education in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
